I love my greenhouse, but
let me tell you it was not easy getting up, following the directions
or having all the correct tools. Could use some improvement
on that end of your product, but the house
itself, when done, is wonderful.
I have had many compliments on it, it is built on
the sideb of our canyon, so it displays itself with great pride.

I did quite a bit of research trying to find something
that would allow me to start an herb garden early. I am a novice
gardener and was looking for something that was relatively inexpensive
and would be easy to assemble. The Greenhouse in a bag was perfect.
I had no problem assembling it and was able to start my garden early
and extend it beyond the normal growing season for my area.
As for your service, website, etc. I had no
problem with any of it. Your site was easy to navigate and
the service, deliver etc, was great...no complaints.
The product really is great and I hope to get many
more years use from it.

Greenhouse in a bag
I have to start off by saying--I love my greenhouse! I
don't know if you've done this already, but it might be nice to
add some sort of "comparison" feature, where you can pick
greenhouses of different brands and have them show up on a comparison
list.
I also don't know if you've done this, but it might be nice to have
a place to go through and have customers rate the greenhouses, so
those buying have a chance to read what people who own them think
of the various houses...
As for my greenhouse, we build it on a corner of
our deck that was otherwise not being used. It fit in perfectly--I
am attaching some pictures we took this morning (the reddish-pink
glow is from the sunrise), but I can send you others taken in full
daylight if you'd like (just let me know). The deck that it's
on is on the second story of the house, right off the kitchen. In
fact, from the breakfast nook you look right out at the door of
the greenhouse.
All in all, the installation wasn't bad. The
extra directions that you guys put together definitely helped! It
might be helpful if these were expanded even further--there were
a couple of times that we still had to disassemble portions in order
to have everything in the right place. The main problem we
had was proper installation of the window--neither the Juliana directions
or the additional written directions pointed out that the little
barrels that hold the window in place in the track have to go in
BEFORE you put on the end cap, the ceiling panes and the ceiling
"beams", and I think we also had to disassemble a portion
of the front door end to get them in. We struggled with this
one for quite some time.
We had also ordered the automatic window opener,
which my husband had to drill new holes because it never would work
properly according to the instructions.
All in all, I really like it. Right now, since
I don't heat it (independent of what it catches during the day),
I'm growing "winter" vegetables, and wintering over some
of my other plants. I'm actually looking into growing mushrooms
in it for the winter.
Anyway, I could go on and on--I'm very happy with
it, and now that I've had it through one growing season, I have
a ton of ideas for next year.
Thanks!

Juliana Basic 450
P.S. I was also very happy with the delivery--it
came exactly when I was told it would, and the driver was very nice.
NOTE: thanks in part to Mrs.
Sobie's input now have a comparison page and since we post comments
and not just compliments on this page we hope you can get a feel
for the different kits and how they work for folks. We have
also made it much clearer to order the univent for the basic, coldframes
and minis so installation is much smoother.
