I
like the MU6 - it is a good size for my purposes. I found the versatility
of two roof windows and the door in two halves to be useful for
regulating the temperature on hot days. The ordering and delivering
were all easy, and I had no problems there. The assembly caused
a few muttered oaths though.

I hope you had
a happy Thanksgiving. I purchased the Juliana Greenhouse to start
a business in custom garden designs, specifically called the living
wreath.
Regarding your website. I would like to see an easier way to get
to your accessories. I had a difficult time finding items that I
would need for better assembly ie: the base framing, vents and automatic
vent windows.
Maybe if you linked the accessories with each greenhouse with suggestions
on what extras are available. I am totally an amateur when it comes
to greenhouses so I loved your description of the time it would
take for assembly.

My wife loves
it. She spend more time planning her garden now, than picking on
me. The
greenhouse saved my marriage!

We love it!
We plan to insulate it this spring for the seedlings but right now
as of Nov 24 we are letting it sleep. It extended our season
by two months at least. We got a killing frost in the middle
of Sept. Rather early for us but not unusual.
We put five
30gal garbage cans filled with water to help with our cold nights. I
think it helps but we did have to supplement
the heating last spring. With the insulation and the water,
the heating costs should really be reduced.
We use it mainly
for the seedlings in the spring for the garden. We do the local
farmers' market in Durango. Then we moved the houseplants out
of the house for the summer and were able to extend our season with
a few plants from the garden in the fall. The frangipani went
crazy as did the geraniums in the fall.
At the time
that we ordered, there wasn't that much on the web site except greenhouses. So,
as far as ordering accessories we just had to ask which was fine. The
shipping was great, no problem there, and the driver had no problem
finding us.
We had to be
very careful putting the greenhouse up as we can get some pretty
strong spring winds. But we did it and it only took us the
weekend. We had the foundation done ahead of time. We actually
put insulation 2 feet down around the edges and filled the floor
with about 5 inches of gravel. It is so dry here we really
don't have a problem with things staying wet for long.
The gaskets
are a great design and the sections just pop right in. They
really hold too, considering some of the winds we have had. The
only problem we had was in the door. It wasn't clear how to
really put the door together but we figured it out and improvised.
We really like
the automatic vents. During the summer we left the door partially
opened to help with ventilation. We get a lot of intense sun
here. We will probably get a shade cloth of some sort next
year.
The picture
I am sending you was taken in November 2001 just before the really
cold weather set in. Spot was chosen as the model for the picture.
At that time we had tomatoes, peppers, basils, lemongrass, other
herbs, cactus and succulents, and flowers filling the greenhouse. For
almost a month the temperatures at night were below 32 and things
inside were doing
fine with no supplemental heat. But once the temperature dipped
to the teens that was too cold and we chose not to supplement the
heat.
We really are
pleased with it. It wasn't too hard to put up and it is a joy
to use. We have a neighbor who stopped by to see it and now
wants one. We gave them your name.
